Weather dependent I'm hoping to be there! Never done it before its not a clutch killer like the egg run is it?

Maybe a wee bimble afterwards.

I'll be there...lending my services as an official. If CC could kindly not attempt to run me over, it would be most appreciated :D

Copied from the parade organiser:

PARADE
Hi all, at present, the parade is going ahead as planned however if needs be we will curtail length of the parade if weather is unfavourable.
IF a weather warning is issued, or the forecast further deteriorates it may be that the parade will need to be cancelled BUT!! the bike meet will still be going ahead as planned.
Remember the parade is only one part of the Erskine Motorbike Meet.
In the end it's at your discretion whether you decide to take part in the parade or head directly for the bike meet

The weather looks scandalous! And after having clocked up rather a few miles today I reckon I am erring on the side of being a complete pansy and staying in tomorrow. Also got an application for a promo at work to finish as well!

Good stuff, how was it?

I need to remember to ignore weather forecasts. I got up at 8:30 and the rain was pounding down here, car park was half flooded so I decided to go back to bed. Got up just before 10 and it was lightly raining, of course come 11 the sun was out. Figures!...

Seconded, Bit annoyed I changed my whole weekend about due to forecast and went out yesterday for a wee bimble. Got Saturdays work to do today so can't get out.

It ran very very smoothly. I'd estimate probably 600 bikes. Think the threat of weather kept a lot at home - so in turn, keeping things in check was easy. Only one police rider - but he was very very efficient - so hats off to him.

All done til next year :)
