Brought new sidi st boots and I'm missing the gear change going up.
New boots need wearing in or what maybe rear sets.....
I have to twist by foot to go under the leaver. BUT some times I don't .
Boots or me ?.
Never had this problem before ever.

Perhaps the boot isn't allowing the gear lever to return to it's central position properly.

It's you. You are a numpty and need to give the bike away, to me.

only bad tradesmen blame their tools. lol

just get them broken in and you'll be fine.

Tried them and couldn't get on with them for the same reason, tried the cheaper nitro nb101 as well and guess it was because of restricted movement being sport boots and all the fancy plastic bits etc made them too stiff i just couldn't move my foot enough comfortably. Went back to standard touring boots without all the fancy bits, much nicer imho.

I had this issue with my Sidi Vertigos when I first bought them as I wasn't used to having toe caps, bit of breaking in and getting used to them sorted it. You can always adjust the shift lever height and see if that feels better.

Had new Sidi Evo to replace crash-mangled pair. Thought I'd never use them, but wore them around the house, up to the local shop, etc to get them broken in. Had to adjust style to get gear changes and braking right but now my old (soft as slippers) pair feel weird.
Get out there and wobble around for a while, you and they will adjust eventually.
