Well almost

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-63NpsiyHoH8/VXHrLNgcmAI/AAAAAAAAfaI/_uQ0bMZG528/w996-h563-no/IMAG0543.jpg

Had it 3 days and done nearly 400 miles so far.

It's a bit of a change going from a litre sports bike to an old man's adventure tourer but actually on the roads I ride on, it's much nicer to ride and probably faster.

Riding position is so much better than a sports bike, you can actually see around you and the wide bars make it easier to chuck about. Although it's big it's not actually that heavy it feels more like a supermoto than a tourer.

Got an amazing deal as well, worked out cheaper to get a new one than used so that's a bonus too.

The forks seem a bit bouncy, more so than the 2 demo bikes I took out so I think they need a bit of adjusting and it's only a matter of time before I drop it because I'm on tiptoes when it's stationary but it's got engine bars so it'll be reet.

Best thing about riding it is you can't see how ugly it is when sat on it :smt078

nice one. enjoy your new toy :-)

BTW i'm sure that suzuki are doing a free seat exchange which might help get your feet on the ground.

Apparently the lowered seat is like a plank but I'll give it a go.

I could keep my pasties in it to keep them warm :)

Undecided on whether to get a new can or not. It'll be covered with the panniers most of the time and the standard can actually sounds quite nice when you're giving it the beans and when you're not it's nice and quiet.

I thought it was an emergency fuel tank

See, I think it looks good, unlike some in this genre, cross tourer and GS spring to mind.

I didn't find the strom that high tbh, you must have really short legs or the preload wound down too much.

I have a baby strom (650) and I love it, so much easier for longer trips than the sv

Nice bike!
They are getting rave reviews on this side of the pond.
Currently one of the most popular bikes sold.

The adventure bike popularity must be getting to me.
Starting to like the look of these, maybe my next bike.(maybe)
