Hi all,

Well im Garvey (Paul) and been off the bikes for about 2.5 years due to a back op. before that I was riding for around 12 years and my last bike was my lovely RSV which got traded for a car :(

Been looking at getting back on two wheels and just bought a SV650s with a blown or seized engine, cheap project bike.

Look forward to picking your brains about the bike over the next few months.

Thanks
Garv

How doo, plenty of knowledgeable folk on here (I'm not one of them though)

People are regularly breaking bikes on the for sale section so you might find the parts you need on there.

Hi Paul! Welcome to the forum.
It'll be nice to see another SV on the road.

Like L3nny said, there are loads of people on here who really know their stuff and everyone that I've spoken to has been really helpful and friendly.
It's a very nice place to be.

I've got a thread with loads of curvy parts for sale if you want to have a look (cheeky bit of shameless plugging there haha) and I know that ClarkySV has quite a lot of parts too

One thing I have noticed is trying to find the rear brake leaver, mine is snapped so will need replacing, anyone know any other models that will fit?

Welcome, I know nothing but I like it here, I even ride a v-strom, so am a total impostor, but it is good to see new people.
