Was out on a ride yesterday. I learned:

1) It's possible to get absolutely smoked by an AMG Merc
2) It's not a nice feeling when the rev limiter kicks in (!)

Are you riding a S1000RR or similar? No? Then no chance.
Most things will catch up an SV and overtake it...unfortunately.

The performance of some modern cars is truly amazing ... as this video of the new Kwak H2R versus a Bugatti Veyron shows: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gi5_GQ78wM8

The traction and the semi-auto gearboxes mean that all the driver has to do is push the 'Sport Mode' button and stand on the throttle.

But you can still overtake that car when you reach the next queue of traffic, or filter ahead of them at the next set of lights ;)

I nearly traded mine in when I had my arz handed to me by a brand new golf R32 thing from the lights. I was gobsmacked!

Although mine is restricted by throttle stop (Thats my excuse anyway!)

It's even more embarrassing the other way around when you're on a Fireblade and keep getting left behind by SVs

That's not the real reason I sold my Blade, honest.

rev limiter! i was under the impression that was a shift indicator :rolleyes:

I got smoked by a Mini Cooper Works last week,not a good feeling lol
