Hi guys!
I just found out that I'm gonna have twins :o, so I guess the moment has come to tell riding goodbye, at least for a while. You know, getting a car and stuff. It feels really weird as I have a personal attachment to the SV, but who knows, maybe one day. Anyway, enough crap!
The bike:
Suzuki SV650S K6 - napoleon blue + full OEM fairing + crash pads
12500 miles, 2 original keys, original books
Maintenance:
Full MOT and service history with invoices & card receipts
Engine oil, plugs and filters all good & replaced last year
Michelin pilot road 4, still look like new if you ask me
Tsubaki heavy duty golden chain in perfect condition
Brake pads and disks in perfect condition
Throttle bodies synchronised recently
Spanner on this forum did my last major service (£500). Should you trust him more, feel free to ask him details about my bike. He is able to confirm that I don't take shortcuts and that the bike is technically sound!
Options:
Ohlins SU323 shock, almost brand new, set up for a 75kg rider
Fuel stainless steel exhaust with removable baffle
Undertray with LED illuminated plate holder
Black CNC adjustable brake & clutch levers
90 degrees aluminium air valves
Double bubble dark screen
Black aluminium bar ends
Black aluminium bobbins
LED mini indicators
The good:
Bike starts and runs like a charm. Really nice sound due to the open exhaust, though I say it myself. Good acceleration, good mileage, good steering. All the expensive maintenance bits (chain, tires, steering bearings and throttle synchronising) have been replaced less than a year ago, so except for the regular maintenance (which has always been done on time + one extra, just to be sure), you won't have any maintenance costs for a while. On top of this, most of the miles it has were done by me (got in at 5000 miles) and I am not only an experienced rider, but I owned SV's before, so I know how to handle these.
The "bad":
No problems really, except for a scratch on the front cowl. It was there when I got the bike, the previous owner said he scratched the bike on a windy day, when he tried to garage it. Given the shape I got the bike in, I believe him, as it would have costed him many, many pounds to get it in a brand new state just for the sale. Even then, it wouldn't make any sense to make the bike look like brand new and leave the scratch as it is. Anyway, it's just cosmetic and not a big deal, but I'm mentioning it. For the rest, just normal wear and tear for a 9 years old bike.

Motorcycle comes with a full tank, HPI check, a paddock stand, some cans of WD40, chain lube and GT85 and if I'm forgetting anything, I'll let you know. I accept any tests, even at a garage (at your own cost, obviously) and a test ride is possible, but bring cash, driving license and proof of insurance. I'll make sure the engine is cold when you arrive. However, if you crash it, you buy it! I know this has been said before, but at the moment, there is no better SV650 for sale in the UK (for this price, period). Pictures speak for themselves...
Price: £2500 (special price for members, will post it on eBay for significantly more)
Thanks
