Hi all, anyone got any pics of where you have mounted your gopro or the like? I've tried it on my helmet but think I would prefer it on the bike. Cheers

I don't have an sv but I have a nice rear footrest mount that I made up with an old alloy tax disk holder. I can get some photos of that if you want. it takes seconds to blot it on under the footrest and it gives nice rearward footage.

Side mount on the helmet for me, i like it there where the texters can see it..
Haven't got pics of where I put it, but here is a little vid I made with the Drift Ghost S and the suction mount.

I just went out and had a play. Trying lots of different angles. Some worked, some didn't. I did have it tied to the handle bars/under the seat cowl etc just in case the mount came off! I had visions of me stoping and the camera nowhere to be seen.

Same here. You can move your head to capture different angles. It can be a bit 'bouncy' but the worst can be edited out later. Just did a few days in Wales and am very pleased with the final results.

I've got one my helmet but also I've got the flat mount on the front fairing about 3cm about the right headlight unit, works quite well and you get a good view of the road and shows you the amount of lean on the bike.

I still haven't been near the bike to get you a photo. Maybe at the weekend I can get down there...

Thought I'd bump this instead of starting a new thread.
Do gopros on SVs suffer badly from vibration? Ideally I'd avoid helmet mounted. I'd rather put it on the bike (full faired SV650S)
I have mine mounted on the tank between the bars and the filler cap. No issues with vibration.

When i did a track day i mounted mine on the fairing (curvy) using one of the mounting bolts. No problem with vibes

I was thinking of mounting mine on the mirror stalk. Any good? What mount should I use? Thanks for any suggestions.

If it's on an SV, in my experience the mirrors vibrate a bit too much.
