for £300 there are better exhausts than blueflame. if you're a little bit lucky, you can find a used arrow/leovince/akrapovic/yoshimura on ebay for less than that. the best sound I ever heard on SV's comes from either an arrow or laser exhaust, but I wouldn't say no to a yoshi either. if you want to go a step further, you could even change your air filter to a high flow one, that will also change the sound of the bike.

Thanks,it is pretty tricky to buy a exhaust if u have no clue whatsoever how it will sound,u know... Will check the air filter as well, thanks

I have a Fuel maxi on my K8. Sounds awesome with the baffles out. Not too over the top.

if you're looking at a new exhaust, you're limited to brands like delkevic, fuel and a few others. not that there's anything wrong with those... however, if you keep an eye on eBay, you could come across a used exhaust for a similar price, but a different (better) quality.

as stated before, the best sound I ever heard came from an arrow/laser exhaust (I had a laser myself, old gen sv), but I know for sure that yoshimura sounds nice as well. youtube has video's with many types of exhausts for your bike and even though you won't be able to tell how loud they are in real life, the sound itself comes across pretty reliably.

that's a nice one. not the cheapest, but definitely worth the money. just don't be afraid to go for a used one, if it's in good shape. not much that can go wrong with an exhaust :)

If you buy a used exhaust is there anything to look out for? Would I need to purchase anything else to fit it?
