For sale a 55L Spada box mounted to a pointy rear seat with 2 keys to lock the box lid and also to remove box from the mount. Hooks on the underside at all 4 corners for a small net to hook to.

In good condition just a little dusty and grubby from being stored in the garage.

Have received a couple of PMs from locals about collecting this.

I have now found a box big enough and if the locals don't want it I will package up for posting.

Postage will be around £15 with parcelforce.

The dry bags in one of the pictures are NOT included

Courier by MyHermes would be much cheaper. Usually under a fiver depending on weight.

that's a pretty cool idea never seen that done before. how does it hold up at speed? might try it with the spare seat I've got for my curvy

It holds up at speed pretty well. I have never loaded it with massive amounts of weight. I did intend to make it so I could bolt it to the grab handle bolts for a bit of extra security and piece of mind.

Got same setup on my curvy (only 45l box). Wind tunnel tested fully loaded at "get to the ferry port" speeds (whatever is full warp speed on a curvy). No issues.

Bump - nearly two years on and I am moving house. I have dug this out of the loft. If there is any interest I can package up for a courier at the buyers expense.

I can also meet in Swindon/Newbury area but please contact me first.

MyHermes will be cheaper than the post. I would be interested if the price is right. I assume it would fit on my naked K3.

I had it on an 05 pointy, providing the pillion seat is the same then i should see no reason why it wouldn't fit but wont guarantee it. I cant remember if I had the grab handle fitted with it on, I dont think I did as I was looking to fasten the seat base to the grab handle bolt holes.

I will take it to work tomorrow so that I can weigh it. If there is no interest by tomorrow evening for collection I will offer it for postage.

I'll take it for that if no-one else wants it :D

But I'll happily stand aside if anyone else really really wants it.

Ophic. I withdraw in your favour. I don't want to remove the grab handle.

Just a quick note. I had an SV a while ago and started off a little seat mod and top box craze. As I am no longer with my SV, I will be selling all the bits I have no use for.
So, I will dig it out and get some pics but it is in fantastic condition.
I am located near Heathrow.
If anybody wants any info about it before I stick it in the for sale section, feel free to pm or ask in public.
