Hi All

I haven’t been on .org for a while, but I’ve lurked from time-to-time. Hope you’re all well, keeping it rubber side down. So, I’ve made the decision that’s it’s time for a change. The SV has been used very little since mini me arrived and although it still puts a big smile on my face I fancy a change (got my eye on a Daytona Triple).

The Bike:
SV650S K6 (56), registered Feb 07
2 owners inc me
Euclase Silver (YDV)
25k miles, 2 original keys, original books, all MOT’s and good history (all servicing according to book)
Full MOT
Currently SORN’d (will put 6 months on when sold)
Powerbronze dark double bubble
OEM Lowers
OEM Cowl (pillion seat and grab rail inc)
R&G crash bungs and tail tidy (original snow plow inc)
New K&N filter (<1yr old)
Carbon Can Co slip on with removable baffle (great sound without being too obnoxious with baffle in)
Maxxis Supermaxx Sport touring tyres front and rear (less than 1k)
DID Gold Chain
New Yuasa battery (less than 6 months old)
LED indicators (conversion to 501 sidelight repeaters & flat side repeaters. Can be put back very easily)
7x5 display plate (original with sale)
Bespoke mini hugger (made by Old Git)
Fender Extender
Full and restricted ECU
12v socket under rear seat

Recent Maintenance (apx 1 yr ago):
Engine oil, plugs and filters
Fork oil and seals (inc Hagon progressive springs)
Engine service, inc throttle bodies
Steering bearings

The Good:
Bike starts and runs perfectly. Has never been down the road or dropped. It has had everything done that needed doing from a servicing perspective, inc. all the expensive maintenance (steering bearings, fork seals and oil, throttle bodies…) within the last year; receipts and MOT’s to prove. I have put the majority of miles on the bike and know it really well. I bought it with 2.7k on it and it’s never let me down. Overall a nice example in my opinion with the majority of mod’s already done.

The Bad & Ugly:
Nothing major, but there are a few age related cosmetic’s as you’d expect. There are a couple of rub marks on the tail section where me tent rubbed the paint on a weekend trip (mat slipped). The top yoke has a few similar marks from the previous owner’s keys (never bothered me). There is a 10mm crack in the RH lower fairing towards the bottom. I've been keeping an eye on it and it hasn't got any worse in 3 years (just needs to be glued). The rear pads are getting low and will need replacing soon. And the front disc bolts are a little rusty. The LH lower fork is doing a bit of the Suzuki peel (again just cosmetic).

Apart from dealing with the above bits and pieces the next mod’s I planned were braided lines, leavers and possibly dog bones to make the rear a little higher. This is probably all that the new owner would need to consider.

Bike was bought outright so no HPI check needed (but feel free). I’ll also include an Oxford cover in the sale. I’ll update with pictures at the weekend, however there is an album of the bike on here at various stages for reference (User CP). If I'm forgetting anything, I'll update when I add photo’s at the weekend.

Price: £1800

Cheers
RichT
