FOR SALE: Canon EF 300mm f4 L IS

Lens bought from MPB in early June this year for £749. The glass is very, very clean and clear and it produces the usual very high standard of images. The tripod mount has some paint rubbed off around the edges and there's a tiny mark on the tripod collar. Both are purely cosmetic and have no effect whatsoever of the optical clarity. I'm selling because I'm planning to upgrade later in the year.

£650 plus delivery, however, I'm quite happy to meet up within 50 miles of Wigan to make life easier.

Depends. Looking at the 100-400 or 300 f2.8.

The 100-400 is superb. I shoot with it handheld a lot and the IS is very good.
