Looking for a camera I can whip out of the tank bag and take a few shots when on a ride. Preferably without taking my gloves off. Would normally just use the phone but that means removing gloves and running the phone battery down.

Any recommendations for a half decent camera? Want to spend about £50 but could stretch that a bit more.

GPS on the camera would be handy so I know where the places are I've photographed.

If you can stretch to it, the Panasonic TZ range is pretty good. Got a TZ35 which has a good zoom. The power button may be an issue with gloves.

+1 on Panasonic Point & Shoots.

Got a Panasonic DMC-FS16 just for this job. Nice simple little point and shoot with a good Intelligent Auto feature that works most of the time. Snow confuses the hell out of it, but does most camera's but has a scene function for snow - so happy days. Always have it in my tailpack when out on the KTM riding trails, just because I get places not many others see, and like to share.

First Panasonic camera, always bought Canon in the past, but this really has impressed for £40 I paid for it a couple of years ago.

No GPS, but later models may have !!!
