I saw this on one of the Reddit biking forums - the damage caused to a ZX6R motor by low oil level, reckoned to have been the result of prolonged wheelieing: http://imgur.com/a/VToWC

That is the only reason I don't wheelie. Well, that and the fact I can't on purpose, but mainly the oil thing ;)

Its sat in the garage waiting to be rebuilt again. Did have a look a few months back but the gearbox was being a pain, haven't got round to doing anything more with it. I really should as I need the space so I can fill it with something else.

I've a curvy engine that ran low on oil. It didn't go bang, and it's still dubious as to if there was anything wrong with it, but, it got replaced and it's also still waiting for a suitably qualified person to fix it
