120 / 180 pair deals at M&P. Com £ 99. 99. Never used these tyres but seems to be a good bargain to me

Decent enough cheap tyre. Ran a pair a couple of years ago. Feel as good as the AVon Storms I took off.

Only downside is the rather instant end of life throuh to the carcass. You get a little cracking of the surface and within 50-100 miles they look absolutely shot. Myself and andysmith both got caught out by this.

If you keep an eye on them, decent bargain tyre.

Did square off quite quickly, but i was doing some big distances at the time. Think I got around 3000 ~3500 out of them, which was usual on the SV. Them wires do appear bloody quick !!!!! No much tread around centre so difficult to judge when getting close.

The Pirelli Angel GT's I replaced them with, never bought another tyre since !!! Well I have, just been more Angel GT's !!!! LoL

I have a pair of these on my curvy at the moment and I've used them in the past. Excellent tyres, warm up quickly, great in the wet and dry, very rapid response to turning which can catch you unawares until you are used to them. 5000 miles from the rear and 6000 - 7000 from the front.

I think these are the later versions of the old Pirelli P6s.I found they gripped really well in all conditions, kept their shape and lasted forever and a day. True about how they go from looking fine to absolutely carped in about 100 miles though.

Lots of tires wear very quickly once all the tread rubber is gone. That's why you shouldn't ride them that long.
That's only for people who think "looking fine" means you can still see some evidence of tread.

I agree with your sentiment, but you will be surprised by the speed at which these tyres go from OK to 'BL**DY HELL !!! I NEED TO REPLACE QUICK' in the space of only a few miles. Very little warning and can catch unawares, that is why myself and Andy are saying - OK tyres but keep a close eye on them near the end of their life. Just a helpful word of warning if anyone is tempted, cos for the money, these are a good buy.
