Hi

I am new to this forum, so hello :)

I am returning to motorcycling after a break of nearly 30 years, having spent considerable time deciding what bike to go for ( and irritating the wife! ) I have put a deposit on a 2002 curvy in black, she is a cracking looking machine with a very low mileage. I am wondering if anyone knows any of the history of her, WK02YNZ

Hopefully will be picking her up a week Saturday after passing my mod2 DAS test ( hopefully ) [-o<

Thanks for reading

Mike

Good luck with the test.

With all the hoops you have to jump through these days, I am SO glad I passed my test in the early 80s, when all you had to do was set off, turn left 4 times to ride around the block, do an emergency stop and answer 3 questions on the Highway Code from a bloke with a clipboard who couldn't even SEE you for most of the time.

By the time I have my license I will have passed 5 tests, last one was doing things like in and out of cones ( mod1 ) which I got through with a clear pass. I had a great time with this, but I am liking to bet that if I went in and out of the cones on the A30 Temple roadworks, I would probably get nicked!

Good luck with the test. Nice choice of bike, by far the better looking one lol

I did that test too. The emergency stop was when the examiner stepped out from behind a tree... running him over was a fail!

AND then DVLA screwed my licence categories and I had to retest. it was post Hazard perception but pre Mod1/Mod2 so wasn't too bad.

SWiMBO takes her MOD2 next week.
