Our friends across the pond have started making triples from inline four 600s and racing them as an intermediate race series, would be very interesting if it took off here!

Seems like an expensive way to **** up a decent bike !

Why not just choose a bike with that power and go race it like minitwins

I'll never fully understand Americans

Do they just pull the spark plug lead off the 4th cylinder?

I had a Vauxhall 3cyl 1L engine once. It was literally a 4 cyl engine with the end chopped off. 180deg crank. A world apart from these nice Triumphs.

They grind the cam to get rid of the ex/in lobes on cyl 3, remove the plug, fit a 15psi pressure release valve in place of the plug to vent any oil or pressure build up from that cyl and remove the injector from that cyl and put a loop hose filled with water on it so ecu still thinks it's doing its job.

what he said ^^^^^ :)

Its a good way to bridge the gap between the starter classes and 600s.
Seeing as you just need another set of cam shafts and you can go race again in the 600 class on the same bike.
