idle problem

welll basically when i start the bike up from cold its fine , i always leave it a minute or so to sort its self out but when i set off the revs when idling drop to 1k and tries to stall and smells of petrol but once its warmed up (80 degrees) then it idles fine at 1.4k revs

anyone know whats wrong ?
