I've been thinking of getting a spare set of wheels so I can get tyres fitted when I can afford them then just swap the wheels when mine get worn out to save having to potentially pay out more or less £200 when I can't afford it, I'm also thinking of getting all new bearings on the spare set.
The problem is that SV wheels seem to go for quite a lot of money! (i should have kept the wheels of my donor bike, hindsight is 20/20) but a friend of mine has a garage full of 600 bandit, 1200 bandit and older gixxer parts and he's convinced that the 600 bandit wheels will fit my SV, if they will I'll be able to get a pair off him for a bargain price.
So my question is, will wheels off a bandit fit a curvy SV?
Some research showed that the MK1 600 front wheel should work as a straight swap but I've not found anything about the rear
Thanks in advance for any input.
