Carbs Next?

So l've made some changes to my curvy S. Swapped the rear shock for something better, had heavier oil dropped into the forks, put a hiflow air filter and new end can on and had the carbs balanced. Now im out of funds for a while so brakes and bar conversion will have to wait. I am wondering if i can/should start tinkering with the carbs myself to help with the extra airflow i presume I'll have. Never done anything like that before so would appreciate feedback on if its worth doing and any tips. Plus anything else worth doing to get more from the bike without spending much.

My 10p worth is, don't mess with the carbs until you really need to ... run the bike for a bit and see how it feels and performs with the mods you've made. A new airfilter won't make THAT much difference if the rest of the airbox and snorkel is standard. See how it goes, but if there are no obvious big flat spots etc, then I'd be tempted to leave the carbs alone ...

Cheapest option is install Pointy cams. Don't mess about with the carbs unless you know what you're doing

Definitely worth doing. Rejetting the carbs though isn't so easy if you want good results so paying for a bit of dyno time here is the way to a good setup. That and you'll know how much power you're getting.
