No Previous Owners - I've had it from new since September 2007 and paid cash for it.

Reason for sale: Family first, and I dont have time for it any more.

Current Mileage: 32,451 - November 2015

Album of some photos here (note that some are old, you can tell by the exhaust):

I bought this bike from new, from a Suzuki dealer, Haslemere Motorcycles in Haslemere, Surrey in 2007. Its the only bike I've ever owned and its been absolutely fantastic. I'll be very sorry to see it go, but needs must and family comes first.

The combination of this being my first bike, and only bike means its been ridden safely since the start, and its never been dropped, crashed or repaired. It has always, since 2007, been garaged overnight. As such, the body work only has the usual wear/tear from wet weather riding, rather than being stood outside. Most noticable are the usual pitting on the front forks, and the mirrors.

The following are the changes that have been done to the bike, in no particular order:

- Scorpion Street Extreme stubby exhaust, fitted by Scorpion. It is road legal, however at the moment the baffle is not in. It still passes MOTs without this, usually with an advisory, but not every time. I will be including the baffle in the sale. I will confirm when I have found it.
- Oxford HotGrips, full working order, wired to the ignition preventing accidental drain.
- Clear indicator lenses front and rear
- Stebel Nautilus horn (wired for 2, only one fitted, another can be added by just plugging the spade connector in under the fairing)
- Scottoiler
- Crash bungs
- Microdotted
- DataTool S4 was fitted on delivery, however went faulty and was removed. As such the remainder of the cabling may still be somewhere in the looms. Theres no immobiliser, anyway.
It has the usual 2 keys you'd expect. I have the toolkit somewhere, but its not in the bike. Unused.

I am selling the following seperately therefore these are not included (if you happen to see any of them in the pictures):

Abba stand (with adapters for SV650)

Almax Immobiliser Series III chain (2m long). This chain is a monster. It is one of these:
http://www.almax-security-chains.co.uk/Almax-Immobiliser-Series-III/Chain-Only__p-69-121.aspx

Another chain, lesser in thickness, 2m long I think.

Locking pin-type lock (I cant remember the make), fits chain - CISA - It is as tough, if not tougher than the chain.
Disc lock

- Send me a message if any of these interest you and I'll get back to you.

***The luggage has already been sold***

I rode this bike to work and back regularly, however use a car primarily. As such, if it ever has been ridden in the wet, it was usually not intentional :)

It has recently had a new rear tyre fitted (<100 miles ago, punctured by me). Because I was in the middle of nowhere I pushed it to the nearest garage and took whichever tyre they had on the shelf that fitted. It turned out to be a Maxxis - something I wouldn't have chosen, but needs must at the time. Its practically brand new with full even tread.

It is MOTd and taxed until the new year. and currently on the road. For this reason the milage may be creeping up, but as above, not much.

Excluding the accessories, I am asking for £2000 but will listen to sensible offers.

Visiting/viewing welcome, no test rides without a full cash deposit.

The bike is in County Durham.

A couple of extra points since I photographed this this weekend:

1) I've also got a Haynes manual for the bike, slightly oiled, but still very good condition - included in sale
2) The pictures of the huge chain in the photos are of the Almax chain with the cover off for washing. Hammer for scale. It is worthy of taking to sea. - not included in sale, offers welcome
3) The following is a list of some of the bodywork which you might be able to see from the image gallery which is not perfect:

-- Lower fairings are not clipped together at the front. The plastics are cracked where the pin should clip together
-- 1" round circular scratch on LHS lower fairing where I dropped something from a shelf in the garage and it got trapped down the side of the bike. Could be touched up probably, and when its gets dirty you cant see this anyway
-- The rear grab handle has a few light chips on and around it where luggage has been carried. Nothing major
-- The scottoiler needs the final piece of the tube replacing. Unknown where that's gone, its a mystery to me. Scottoiler works fine, but now is obviously left empty as its just dripping onto the ground.

4) I've found the original 4 orange lenses for the indicators - included in sale
5) I've found the Suzuki toolkit (unused, unopened) - included in sale

I think new it's still over 100 so a bit under under that seems fair. It's a brilliant chain and if I thought I'd have another bike any time soon I'd keep it.

Problem is it weighs way too much to make posting it feasible. Where are you?

Shame - if you were any closer to places I visit I'd happily drop it off myself.

I'd be interested in the chain but, like Tom it'd be difficult for me to get up to Durham from Manchester in the near future to collect it.
