Hi everyone, I'm pretty new here. I've been lurking around for some time now, accessing the collective knowledge here, for which I'm eternally grateful! Now my custom SV is done I thought I was about time I said hey, and show you what I've made...

http://claymoto.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/01.jpg

A little bit of background for you here:

I've worked in motorcycle design for a couple of years, and clay modelling for the car/motorcycle industry for about 12 years. I've wanted to do my own bike build for some time now, and when my wife passed her bike license, I fixed up a damaged '08 SV650 (ABS model) for her, and discovered myself actually what an awesome little bike the SV is! What makes it an absolutely perfect candidate for the kind of build I had in mind is that it's a great engine/chassis package, but (please forgive my blasphemy here in the church of SV) the looks are rather outdated...

There's a whole build story (http://claymoto.com/project-stories/) on my website www.claymoto.com (http://www.claymoto.com) and loads of photos, but just to give you a taste, here's some photos from along the way...

She's a beauty! As I mentioned on SVRider, it's a pity you couldn't keep the Supertrapp on it as it looks even better with it, but needs must ...

Very impressive work there, the styling isn't my cuppa tea but your workmanship is incredible.

I'll throw a spanner in the works. I don't like it.

I like the front, really stylish but hate the back end.

And don't get me wrong I truly, truly admire the workmanship and skills that have built it.

I agree. The front end and tank are beautiful. But the tail is too short for me. It looks silly with you sitting on it. Still very well made though

Short tails are the current trend. Not my cuppa either. Still a work of art though.

Chapeau young man, great concept brilliantly executed. Huge amount of work there.

As said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and the rear isn't quite for me, but stunning none the less.

love the split in the rear of the seat. Built for an endurance race, if ya know what I mean :joker:
