Logo help

Hey Guys,
Right my mrs has drawn me up a few ideas for my business logo.
Now what software could I use to create it or anyone want to help.

The business is called JC services
We do tree felling, landscaping, gardening, waste disposal.
I want the JC to be a tree stump with foliage above it and maybe Services written in a lawn underneath

Where are you putting your logo? Is it just going on a van, or are you planning a website, business cards and additional marketing materials. I ask because there are places that will do the logo design alongside the production of marketing materials.

Do you literally just need one of the mock ups redrawn properly in PhotoShop/Illustrator?

If so, chuck me a PM and I can ask one of the stroppy creatives nicely...
