Got myself a pair of fj1200 clipons off the bay

I'm understanding that I need a +1" longer brake hose

Where should I go about looking for one ?

Will any of the other control cables/wiring need extending?

Cheers

If you've got an S model, then get one from a naked, or get some made up.

You might need longer throttle cables, the clutch cable is usually long enough. I also had to use the first part of the naked choke cable on my curvy

All the major hose suppliers do, my bike shop got mine made up. Can't remember which firm off the top of my head

The FJ12 clipons look to be a similar rise to the Accossato bars fitted to mine.

You're right that you will need slightly longer front brake lines and you will probably find the clutch cable length ok and that just rerouting the switch gear cables will avoid stress on the cables/loom.

I've only ridden it up the road couple of times (private roads) due to not passing test yet ! But it's horrific for a big lad like me (5'9" 19st massive gut) so over winter I'm doing these bars and the zx14 rear shock, so I'll not reality be able to tell you the difference in feel vs standard, having not had the experience of riding my stock svs regularly. I'm just going straight for these mods ready for when I pass
