Hi, I bought a gladius front wheel which i was told would fit fine on a pointy sv, however the speedo drive doesn't fit correctly; the front wheel is not turning properly (resistance) and the speedo drive is wearing down. Does anyone know if there is any easy solution or do I need to buy a gladius speedo drive (haven't been able to find one anywhere) or a new sv front wheel? My bike is a 2006 650s.

Do what a lot of us have done when using fitting a gsxr front end, and fit a hall effect sensor and magnets to the disc.
Hall effect is wired into the speedo cable and pick up the speed from the magnets in the disc. You'll need to make a bracket for the sensor.
Do a search on here or Svrider.com
Parts fische for gladius might be on Alpha Sports then see if Robinsons Foundry have the speedo cable
Otherwise get another front wheel
