There's three days of dry in there.... What's to be depressed about?
I'm using my last days annual leave to get out on the road tomorrow, but it'll be self powered two wheel action, the street is staying in the garage nice clean and dry.

That's normal summer weather too :p
I've definitely got the winter blues too though. I just keep staring longingly at my desktop wallpaper :smt010
Worst part is my bike isn't even here for me to go and stroke lovingly. Poor thing. Maybe I should put a picture of me beside it to keep it company

Get a dirt bike, I ride all through winter, regardless of weather, admittedly I van my bikes to where we are riding but still ride all day in crap weather.

I did an hours ride just for fun last night 8-9pm, its really not cold (yet).
we always laugh that my shift days can be spotted dead easy - they're the day that the weather turns crappy - although it's Sunday this week, so the rain's a day early! :)
Went out for a spin Saturday morning in day light and on dry roads, that has not happened for over a month. Spirits have lifted a bit, roll on summer

Nice day out for the EAR fish n chips Sunday.
Was so mild my fingers had a sweat on in my winter gloves

It's grim up north.
Give up whinging
As previously mentioned, get yourself a dirt bike, or more specifically a road legal enduro. If it is raining, less carp to wash off the bike when you get home !!!!
This is the first year, with a KTM 250 in the garage, life is so much better.
I only got to go out on my new bike 3 times before the gritters came out, still not bothered. Hoping to get out Sunday morning, come rain or shine. Would love it to snow, up the forests with 6" of the white stuff !!! Cannae wait !!!!
Shame I was busy yesterday, after all that rain, the muck would have been axle deep, that would have been a proper laugh.
Get saving now, get one for next year, banish the winter blues. :smt081

Met a bloke yesterday whose son is selling his trials bike.
Would it be too much for me ( like the Street Triple is ) ?
ps:
He only won this year's Scott Trial on it - there's pedigree!

My SV looks like a dirt bike!
Plan to wash it when the rain stops and the temperature gets above 20 Celsius. Otherwise pointless. Clean lights daily, er that's it. No salt, that's the real bike killer!
Get a good waterproof suit, stay dry and keep moving when everyone else is under car-arrest in traffic! He he.
