As per title, can they be made to fit rather than buying custom shorter cables; I'm converting my N to the S clip ons.

Thanks.

No, they definitely won't. The screw fittings that screw into the throttle cable housing are totally different. Speaking from experience, I did this 2 weeks ago

Did you use the s throttle cable housing and keep the N switchgear in the end or kept the N cables?

Also how did you get on with the clock brackets? I was thinking of using simply two twisted flat steel sections to the clip on mounts, then welding a crossbar in.

if your converting N to S then you will need the S right and switchgear, cable housing, throttle tube, cables and master cylinder (yes the throttle tubes are different).

Hi Bibio, am I right in thinking the 07+ switchgear is different to previous years? I have the cables and an r6 tube and housing to fit. Having trouble sourcing a straight lower triple at the moment, bought three off of eBay and all have been twisted to some degree, getting fed up with it now! Don't suppose you have a straight one I can buy?

all sport switchgear are the same from K5> (black frame) as it cuts lights on start. all Naked k5> are same and completely different from Sport. left is same Naked or Sport K5>

all Sport front MC are the same till K8-9 when they changed the front brake lever. the naked brake lever fits the sport MC but you cant fit the naked MC to the sport as the clipon is too short in length.

naked throttle housing is completely different from sport as it has integrated switchgear. R6 throttle tube mod is a hit or miss and TBH its not worth it unless your constantly at full throttle all the time. only reason for fitting the R6 is to stop the 'thumb walk' to reach full throttle. naked and sport throttle tubes are different.
