So im filtering in the left lane and there is a queue of stationary cars in the right. Between the cars is a kid on a 125 who decided he wanted to filter in the left hand lane just as i was passing him, No checks, shoulder checks or anything, he just pulled out!

So annoying, Anyway, the bike is now a cat D write off, insurance co are paying out and are letting me keep the bike, Where would i get spares from? ive checked ebay and they all seem to be in the USA, i dont need much, as TBH most of the damage was on the lower fairing which im just going to remove anyway.

Morale of the story is always wear all your gear! i had full leathers / boots etc and got off with a grazed knee and a black eye, he was in trackies and trainers, poor bugger ended up with a broken leg!

Glad you weren't badly damaged and hope you get back on the road soon

Doubly glad you had your gear on - I always wear my leathers, boots and a decent pair of gloves too, I feel kind of exposed or vulnerable if I ride without them now...
