Go on then 7500 mile tell me, good nick bar a bit of paint missing off the engine.

For me I'd say £3500 max. I found the suspension a little like the SV on the standard street, but they're still good bikes.

maybe a little harsh on the price.

The guys in a hurry and got the "we buy any carp cheap" boys round tomorrow, they've offered him less than £3000. I've been and had a look n listen and I'm smitten.

Phhh I wouldn't let it go for less than £3000. The engine casing thing is common its not a concern for me anyway.

Never ridden a street triple, but have owned a speed triple and sorry i must say, what a sack of sh*t it was. not the most reliable of bikes and myself being 6ft it was so bloody cramped.when riding it back from purchase 95 miles i did think to myself what have i done. looking at the prices today of used speed triple's against prices of the sv's, i would take the sv hands down. sorry to sound so negative regards Triumph triple's but this is my own view.

Don't think the Speed's a patch on the Street.
£3150 it is then - he's cut his own throat!

Well I'm 5 foot 4 and 9st 3, so being cramped isn't a problem:D. As for the rest of it I shall have to wait and see.

You should try a street, it might be on the small side for you but it's such a different bike to the Speed. I test rode a Speed and I was so indifferent to it. Please tell me you had a test ride before you bought it.

i did have a short test ride around the block, yes it did feel small then but thought i could get a couple of inches extra room adjusting the bars ect. it was only after riding it home for around 50mls i started to ache. got it home and did the adjustments, but it did not go to plan. after owning the bike for a couple of weeks and approx 300mls later, running issues started.it was time to say farewell speedy.

Ah shame... Garages must hate me. A short test ride is 100+ miles.

Here Malc have you bought it yet?

:DYep it is mine :D. I am really looking forward to it. Need to make some room in the garage before I pick it up.

Do you want a kitten as Mrs LOM has had a full litter:(.

I can get the balls of my feet down just. It will be a bit lower when I've adjusted the preload for my weight as there was no sag when I sat on it, the preload is wound well down the shock for a heavy rider. Cause you can have a go:).

Shifted stuff around today so I'm ready.

Just got to persuade Bibio to come and fettle it for me before it gets warm enough to ride.
