Just changed this out on the front of my sv as the old one was tatty,

question, the new bolt has a weird shaped head, do I just need an impact drive type instead of a star shaped socket, or is there a special Suzuki tool?

cheers in advance

Phil

Big socket on the end of the torque wrench?

It made me ask with the new one having a chamfered point where you would expect it to be straight, the 27mm in my set is a multiple star type socket so Ive ordered a hex impact type see if that fits better.

To be honest I'd just guess it, I only use a torque wrench for engines. Axles = tight. What's the torque setting you need anyway?

Dont quote me on it but 98nm comes to mind, Ill have a look in my book

98Nm=tight

It's like some sort of universal holistic thing

You want loose spindle mister? I do you loose spindle, 10 dollar, you like, you go away happy, thankyouplease. Tight spindle 20 dollar. Tight spindle good, you like, go very fast, you no punk mister, 20 dollar really good.
