Hi All,

Just putting a genuine feeler out there to see if anyone would fancy a move onto an SV1000? And helpfully have their 650 go to a good home too!

The bike is seen here as it currently stands:

It does require some paint work, namely the tank and rear panels need a respray as the previous owner didn't laquer the paint he applied.
This has meant that a slight petrol spill attacked the paint on the tank and then when my brother rode pillion one day, his boots rubbed thru the paint on each side of the rear seat cowls.

The pictures above include those issues so you can see it isn't obvious from 6 foot away.

Other than that, the bike is getting MOT's this weekend so will be all set for summer.

The reason I would like to have another 650, is to match my 650 track / race bike. It would mean that I can happily ride around on a 650 day to day and jump on my track / race bike and not have to retune myself to it as much.

The 1000 is a cracking bike, but is naturally heavier so takes me some time to adjust. When I have limited runs at a hill climb event, that eats up my valuable practice runs adjusting back to the 650.

Due to the paint work required, I estimate the value of my '04 1000 at around £1600. Its done about 10k miles and has the lovely gixxer front end.
Its super comfy with the higher bars and gel seat.

Comes with the original cans and the loud as hell carbon ones :)

I'll not go into more details here, but if I've sparked some interest, PM me and we can discuss further :)

Mike.
