Thinking about selling up if anyone's interested? It's just sitting in the garage now I've got the blade. Looking for £1450 and can deliver for a reasonable price.
I bought it just over a year ago with 25,500 miles on it from the guy who owned it from new. It doesnt have service history as his brother was a bike mechanic and I've fully serviced everything as listed below. It now has 26,300 miles on it, so everything has been done less than 800 miles ago. A few hundred miles were 3 slow trackdays, the rest occasional commuting. New MOT yesterday with no advisories.
The previous owner had dropped it in the garage, which cracked the fairing and headlight and bent the radiator. I've replaced the headlight and all plastics front and rear, the radiator is out of shape but the broken mount has been professionally welded and it works fine with no leaks.
Mechanically it is excellent and it rides perfectly. Cosmetically it's not the best, but nowhere near the worst either. The plastics are all good, the tank has one chip (see pictures, right side before the S in Suzuki) and the paint on the forks and engine is tatty.
What I've done:
- changed all fluids (oil, coolant, brake fluid). Oil is due a change as this was a year ago. I can do this if it seals a deal.
- new EBC sintered brake pads all round, stripped and cleaned front calipers
- Bridgestone BT016 evo tyres
- chain and sprockets
- valve clearances
- TPS adjusted
- throttle bodies balanced
- rear linkage bearings checked and greased
- k tech springs and heavier oil up front (original springs included)
- ZZR14 shock, resprung for approx 13 stone rider (original shock included)
- replaced all plastics
- new crash bungs
