Finally caved into the voices in my head and pressed the buy button.
Gave up trying to find someone who fits pre supplied tyres.
And at 11K miles a year commuting now hoping to save money in the long run. Admittedly in about 6 years time...

Looking forward to swearing at it.
Now just have to press the buy it button on some PR4's.

For those of you who ever wondered. Yes it does work to ride with a tyre strapped to your back. Front tyre home, rear tomorrow.

If you fancy making it 5 years to make your money back perhaps consider doing other peoples tyres for a small fee or a few beers for example.

I know if I lived close I would throw you a tenner even just the borrow the tool for a day.

Well I didn't get the chance to change the tyres this weekend.
(I hope life slows down a little soon - however with 3 kids under 8 I can't see it happening anytime soon)

I can't decide if that was a good call or not to not swap it over.
As this morning I have a screw stuck in my rear from Monday. It's completely flat. So had to come to work in the cage.

Would have been ****ed if it was the brand new one.
Still gotta find the time now, as I hate coming to work in the car.

Just bring your wheel and tyre to me and I can change the tyre for you :)

Well, taking nearly 3 times longer to get home in the car was enough motivation. Rear tyre now swapped over. ABBA bead breaker worked a treat so too did the wheel balancer. Happy with my purchase.
What was shocking was everything in between. Now I've changed hundreds of pushbike tyres, mostly without any tyre levers etc. However these are a right *******. Still got the front to do at the weekend to hone my somewhat lacking skills. If you are looking to buy gear to change tyres then I can recommend the Abba package. But you might want to study YouTube first.

As I'm on the mailing list Abba have just sent an offer on their wheel components. Up to 25% off. Grab yourself a bargain. Codes on their website, valid whilst stocks last/1St Aug.

My rear's going to need changing in the next few months (talk to my family, they will confirm this to be true!) so if I may, for a small fee to justify your purchase, be in contact... nice ride out to Stansted from Chelmsford too!

I was contemplating one of these kits and thought about doing other peoples tyres for a few quid. Glad to hear you're pleased with it!
