Do the Hagon springs look significantly different from the standard items? Bought a set for the bike and the new ones look the same to me. The hyperpro springs look very different in a video I saw but can't fine a picture of the hagons.

Top are old bottom are new. All the pictures i have seen of progressive springs seem to have much tighter coils at one end.
why progressive?
did you buy them second hand?
what's the new spring rate?
the bottom one looks as though it has heavier gauge steel.

They were going for a good price on eBay, new 'old stock'. I know linear are preferred but these seemed like a good deal at the time and everyone says the progressive do make a difference.
As I understand it the originals are progressives to allow a bit for different rider weights (logical from a manufacturers point of view) but when changing to linears you can choose a rate thats better matched to the individual....

Original are progressive for the S, linear for the unfaired. (both pointy).
See pictures here showing my original, and also another original one sold to me by an Org member claiming them to be K-Tech linear. The only time I've been ripped off (so far) on a forum deal.

Not first hand for the unfaired, but going by the manual ..

Try hagon?
They look a different wind to the stock to me.
I've got a set in the shed if I remember I'll get a picture when I'm out messing with the bike tonight.
