Swapping parts

I have an 07 sv650 and I am getting a 2012 vstrom 1000. I wanted to know if anyone knows if I can put my fender extender from the sv on the Strom. While I am at it do you know if the radiator guard I got for the sv will also fit on the Strom. I don't want to buy those again if I don't have to?
