Just looking for some advice on potential fork leg runout.. I'm converting a Cat C K8 to a cheap track bike and while changing the fork oil and fitting some KTEC springs I thought I would check the forks weren't bent. I don't really want to dismantle the forks completely so held the main fork body in a vice horizontally with the fork extended and slowly rotated the leg watching for any lateral movement at the end against something fixed. Both fork legs had about 2mm of movement. Is this within the tolerances to not be noticeable when riding? I'm thinking its probably ok but thought I would get some opinions on here before I put it all back together..

Also, is there any easy way to check the triple clamps are ok? They look fine to my naked eye and the metal doesn't look like its been stressed but I would like to make sure for piece of mind
