FOR SALE OR SWAP
Looking to sell my SV as im looking at getting into green laneing. I've owned the bike for a little over 2 years now and over this past winter I've fully stripped & resprayed just about everything so the bike looks like new! Fresh oil & filter around 500 miles ago when i finished the rebuild. Just over 10 months MOT remaining. Ive replaced the front fork springs and changed the oil to a slightly heavier oil to eliminate the stock slightly soft front end. Currently fitted with Pirelli Supercorsa tyres, (road legal slicks), but i will be including some Bridestone Battalax which are more of a winter tyre. It started life as the bikini version but as you can see in the pics its now fully faired with a GSXR inspired paint job. Tail tidy and rear seat cowl fitted at present but again ill be including the pillion seat, foot rests & grab handle. Also has crash bungs fitted, renthal grips & chain, (chain replaced last year). I use the bike to commute on regularly and there is a scuff on the rear most tail fairing, (should be able to see in the pics). Done a few miles now at 47,265, but still rides fine and ive never had a problem with her.

Obviously looking to get as much as i can as i put a LOT of time & effort into this, but make me an offer, worst i can say is no thanks ;)
Would consider swapping for something along the lines of a Yamaha WR250f, Honda CRF250x or XR250r, or a KTM 250excf. Basically i want something 4 stroke, road legal and fairly tidy. Viewings and/or questions welcome.

EDIT - I appear to have caused some confusion after reducing the sale price and not editing my post. No offence was intended. Being no trader I have merely tried to value against what I could find for sale in a similar condition and the money I have put into her. If possible though I would appreciate some help as to what you guys think I should be asking for? Thanks in advance, Steve.

(its also listed on ebay if its easier)

You've obviously put a lot of time into it but it's way overpriced at the end of the day it's still a 16 year old nearly 50k mile bike never mind how nice the paint work is.

tom_e and Bibio, no offense intended but I thought the general consensus on the forum, was to 'pass on by' if one is not interested in an item someone has for sale?

Looking at the available information on the advert, at best it's condescending.....

i agree quest but not when the seller is trying to make more money from members when in fact it should be the same or lower price. if it were not for the price hike i would have passed on by
