I've just got my first "real" bike after 18 months on a 125.
She's a totally standard 2003 S.
Look forward to maybe spotting some of you guys when I'm out & about.

Yep she's Silver.
I'm often out improving my technique on the Baldock to Buntingford road or out to Barton from Hitchin.
I'm sure there's a blue curvy in Letchworth but not seen any other pointys yet.

My nightmare road when I was commuting from Norwich to Stevenage. Hated trying to get into & through Baldock.

It's much better now they have a bypass, straight through to the A1 missing those horrific traffic lights.

I love the fact the worst part of a commute from Norwich to Stevenage wasn't the destination.

How times change.

Fortunately, I only had to make that journey on Mondays. I was spending weekends at my girlfriends house in Norwich but travelling from my home in Northamptonshire the rest of the week. That commute was great. 60 miles of back roads and the A1 took me just an hour in my Nissan 200sx. Given that the last 18 miles was on the A1 in the rush hour, you can imagine the speeds I was travelling at on the back roads.
