Hi all

Due to a mates young son coming off his SV1000 I am now breaking said bike.

He was on his way home from work and lost the front on some wet leaves, causing him to come off and do quite a bit of damage.

As he moved to Canada shortly after I said I would break it for him to try and get some money for him as he had neither the time or skill to do it himself.

The bike is a 2006 SV1000, with just shy of 28,000 miles on the clock.

As you can see he bent the front end, I turned the forks round so we could move it, and it also dropped on one side.

The front took the brunt of the damage and so forks, yokes, frame and front fairing are not available, likewise the clocks and the tank are also not for sale.

What is not in the picture is the front calipers, which were removed to be able to move it, they hit the front wheel when I tried rolling it along, but these are for sale.

Apart from that, what you see is what is for sale.

The screen and right hand mirror are also still available.

The bike starts and runs fine and the crash bung and foot peg saved the engine cases from any damage.

I appreciate that forum rules dictate a price must be included with any items for sale, but as there is pretty much a complete bike here I will price items if and when someone asks for anything.

So if there is any bits you need please feel free to contact me and I will send pictures of any items required as well as a description and a price.

I am just trying to get some cash for the guy so not looking for top dollar for anything.

Hope there are some bits of use to people

Cheers
Stuart

Thanks Stuart. I ended up bending the existing one back in place and it looks ok if a bit scuffed. That'll get snapped up on ebay at that price though!
