I'd just like to introduce myself, my name is Wayne, I've just purchased a very clean 09 plate Gladius. I have been riding for 8 years and have got this for a bit of fun. I don't know much about them yet and I've got no doubt I'll need a lot of help of you all.

MrC had one, but sold it to clear the finance & his Mrs didn't like the pillion seat

Not many owners on here, probably because its called a Gladius and not an Sv650 Gladius

They softened the looks with the Gladius and many (men) think it looks girly. In fact, the only Gladius owner that I have spoken with was a woman and she loved it.

I've done one ride so far, 60 miles on the cold and it held up really well. The wheel base is a little small and I could do with it being slightly higher but it's smooth, accelerates well, stops better than expected. It'll do the trick for at least this year lol

Welcome! Another new guy here.

Doing my DAS on a Gladius. Seems a nice bike! Ruined by swathes of ironwork in case someone drops it mind you...
