Org help: Who are the most famous females in sport?

OK Org, I have to put together a selection of images of the most famous/inspirational/successful sportswomen for a series of workshops for school children. The cricket bit is easy as I can include Clare Connor, Charlotte Edwards, Meg Lanning, Rachael Heyhoe Flint etc.

Who would you suggest who would be known by this age group? I've already thought of:

the question was for sports women who would be known by school children. I would bet with the exceptions of the old gits of the org. Most people on this forum wouldn't have been born when the above were at the heights of their fame.

Can't believe Dame Ellen MacArthur hasn't had a mention yet..... I know sailing is seen as a bit of a toff elitist sport but what she has achieved, and if you know anything about sailing the conditions under which she achieved it, is quite simply mind blowing.
