Car front number plates

Seeing more and more cars without front plates these days. I was admiring a Lamborghini the other day and couldn't even work out where you'd mount one if you wanted to.

Has the law been relaxed or are these people just chancers who don't care about getting fined?

The £30 odd FPT that the offence attracts is a bargain compared to the speeding tickets and congestions charges it helps you evade......

Edit, I'm showing my age, apparently it's £50 now. Still a bargain, even the boy racer chavs can afford that......
