Noise in top gear

Noticed lately a whining noise in top gear at around 70mph seems to be coming from right hand side of engine but a bit difficult to be sure.doesn't seem to be noticable in other gears at same rpm or speed.
Is this likely to be anything to worry about.Cheers

chain too tight?

No chain tension is fine. Only noticed this after new chain and sprockets had been fitted. Doesn't do it at the same speed if i use a lower gear only seem to notice it in top

My old Bandit 12 used to whine more than my ex wife.. My K3 SV whines too, particularly in top gear. I wouldnt be concerned too much with it providing nothing looks amiss drive side. A louder exhaust may help
