View Full Version : Sv non starter
Well it would appear my sv is a bit poorly, started fine last weekend but this morning the dash comes on as normal but when I press the starter it makes a click from the rear then all power is lost.
I thought it mast be the battery so put it on my battery tender all morning which showed it to need a charge but once full it still does the same?
Could it be the RR or one of my accessories playing it up?

a good condition charged battery should not loose charge in that short a time.
make sure that the battery connections are tight.
do you have one of those usb acc sockets on the bike per chance?
Will go check the connections, only got a battery tender lead, hotgrips both coming of a gizmo I bought of some dodgy Scotsman off here😂

lol. is the battery tender plugged into the twin tail battery lead outlet on the gizmo?
Just go check

Dead battery syndrome, I've had a couple go like that.Enough power for the lights, but bigger all else.
Panic over, school boy error. My negative terminal had come very loose, I suppose it's the result of a vibey engine but I'm glad it cost nothing as I'd gone into 'oh yet more money' mode after the lawnmower decided to let all its oil pass the piston rings

Meant to say thanks for the suggestion too.
