02 sv650s fender eliminator kit

Hey there everyone, I'm attempting to install a competition werkes fender eliminator kit. AND I'm stuck. All the cutting done and we're ready to drill the holes for the big mount. Our problem is that we can't figure out where to mount the plate at without one side of the rear fairing in the way or the passenger hand rails. Could someone post some pictures of their bike done. I think that the large plate may be messed up. Near where it starts to become round at the two closest screws it is uneven on both sides and I just want to make sure it's right
