I haven't seen any dyno charts for the Euro4 bikes yet, so I thought I'd post one up just in case anyone was curious. The bike is totally stock with about 2000 miles on it. The brown and red lines are the original power and torque, the two shades of blue are the first attempt at a remap. Just fiddling around really. Cheers.https://image.ibb.co/mOLN2v/SV650_Euro415072017.jpg (https://ibb.co/c8n22v)

Nice remap, looks like useful increases in power and torque, let us know what affect the remap has on MPG if you can. What have you noticed when riding the bike after remap ?

I'll start calculating MPG next time I fill up and report back. I don't place much faith in the computer.

Riding-wise it feels sharper off the bottom (it's pretty soft as stock) and pulls cleanly through the gears. Replacing the stock exhaust is the next step, as the bike is unnervingly quiet.

was this a remap of the stock ecu?

Yes mate. The bike is completely stock (bar heated grips lol), so no bolt ons like a power commander etc.

I'd imagine that if you junked the stock filter and exhaust on the new bike you'd be up there, without opening up the engine for any changes.

so you have the new SV650 like the picture below.

Ah that explains it. Everyone knows black bikes are the slowest :p

Been keeping my mpg notes - mixed riding, including a lot of fast cruising over 90mph and one flat out blast up to 132mph (on the clock) and I'm getting 60mpg. Unfortunately I didn't measure it pre-remap so I have no idea if this is any good or not! I'm a light rider (only 75kg in leathers) but those figures were taken on a weekend away and I was carrying some camping gear bungeed to the pillion seat. Cheers.

Thanks Hilltop, 60mpg under those riding conditions seems pretty good, are you still impressed with the extra oooomph or have you got used to it by now and can't remember what it was like before (as we do LOL)

Yes you quickly adjust! To be fair the SV fuelled much better stock other euro4 compliant bikes we've seen, so props to Suzuki. Looking at the way that torque drops off past peak power I still think there's a fair bit to come from that engine with other mods. It's just whether the time and budget justify doing them.

Do people actually get all their bike kit on then jump on the scales?

Haha, generally not, but I was weighed for setting up the suspension for my track bike.
