Just thought I'd post this.I've bought one of the small portable USB chargeable Flat Battery Starter boosters,

https://www.amazon.co.uk/C-POW-Portable-External-flashlight-Emergency/dp/B01IASVQ0Q/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1504693237&sr=1-1&keywords=C-POW+car+Jump+Starter+400A

Easy to use and works.I deliberately flattened my SV650's battery so it wouldn't start. Then used the Booster as per the video.

https://app.box.com/s/n5pc0ofmkfren93t1d4ufh7ils3ol55r

There's no preview on Boxnet so you have to choose to download but can just open with whatever Video Player you use for .mp4

I made sure the Booster had four LEDs showing but according to others will work on 3 LEDs.I edited a little out of the vid as I had to rest the phone/camera on the seat whilst I connected the lead/s from the booster but it's all genuine.
I actually got it to help a pal but wanted to make sure they
worked,and they do :smt103

Note:I bought it off Amazon on Saturday night and it came at 4pm next day on the Sunday!!!!!!!

Note:If you attach the device to a fully charged battery the warning LEDs flash Green and Red.This threw me at first.Once the battery was below 11.5v the bike clicked/none-starter and when attached the Full green LED was present.

Small enough to fit under the passenger seat :)

Just a tip for using Crocodile clips.

Angle grind/file a 45% slant on one side of the clips,

Then you can get easy purchase when needed. This will invalidate the warranty on the USB unit but once I found it worked I don't care.I prefer the convenience.
