Right, brought a acumen cat1 alarm a while back and tried wiring it today but theres a purple wire and black wire left but theres no instructions and dont know where they go. Does anyone have a idea about where it goes as dont want to start cutting wires where i dont know where its meant to go? Thanks

Sodding alarms - Bin it and forget about it.
My Datatool was nothing but a massive pain in the ****.
It gave me two rather long pushes.
Sooooo glad to have removed it.
And my insurance, well I'm happy to pay the £6.00 a year I saved having it fitted, worth £6.00 so that it doesn't sodding beep at me every time I look at the bike.
If your fitting it to lower your premium I wouldn't bother, if your fitting it to stop someone stealing it I wouldn't bother. If they want it they'll take it.
