I usually use EBC brakes pads. They have never let me down for years. As I'm not a Racer I prefer softer,"Organic" pads for the road but for racing I would most likely go for harder ones with the full knowledge that they will wear the discs faster.

being a novice your not going that hard on the brakes so anything will do.

i would recommend DP Brakes, they have a lovely initial bite and very progressive feel. dont be silly and buy ''race'' pads as you wont get enough heat into them and will end up glazing.

DP Brakes pads come with a ceramic coating on the back of the pads so no need for the anti squeal shims, but you can if you like.

brake pads are only as good as the rest of the system so make sure your callipers are well serviced.

Hi, for those recommending DP pads, do you use the standard (DP322/323) or their fancier SDP322/323?

I use the SDP pads.
