Hi guys, I have a K1 with Blue Flame Exhaust. I loose power around 5000rpm and wanted to know if anyone else had the same issues and how their carbs were set. I am also desnorkled.

Hey, I have a 2002 Curvy with Blueflame exhaust. I love the way it looks and sounds but I have no loss of power.

Hi Tamsen,
Do you know what your carb set up is? Your jets and a/f mix etc?

I have not altered my jets or air/fuel mixture, so I am sorry I cannot tell you. The most I have have done so far is a simple carburettor balance for the YouTube Channel. I did do a bit of googling and this looked like a very comprehensive website with a step by step guide. Good luck.

If the power loss continues after the 5,000 Rpm or even not, check that the Fuel cap is venting correctly. If it's blocked it can cause fuel starvation by creating a partial vacuum in the fuel tank.
I've had this happen on a motorcycle before.
HTH :)
