Just completed some accessories updates on my 2016 Suzuki SV650!! Got a Givi screen which I think looks better than the MRA and Givi has a tidier fitting arrangement I also hope it will be less noisy. I also found and fitted a Renntec Grab Rail for the 2016/17 Suzuki SV650.
I found it much easier with the grab rail when moving the bike about and to get it out from my garden shed takes about a 5 point turn and I don’t trust the passenger strap on the seat. A word of warning if you have fitted a tail tidy the Renntec Grab Rail fitting kit will NOT fit as it is designed for the original rear mudguard. I modified mine to fit, it’s still secure and is bolted to the frame under the seat.
I must say finding a grab rail for the bike was difficult and only Renntec make one for this model and I found a first class motorcycle accessories web site run by James Hillier (Isle of Man TT Winner) https://yourmotobike.co.uk/ I emailed an enquiry about the 2016 SV650 Grab Rail and before he was open in the morning he replied almost instantly offering to get one from Rennitec the same day, personally picking it up from Rennitec who are on the same industrial site as his business and posting it free to me. This the best service I have had from any online motorcycle business.
